The previous log entry shows that you haven't completed the proper first
run of Max to create the user BBS data file. In the subsequent log files,
I believe this generated a bad user database. To (re)generate the user
databasea run max with only a '-c' option. (i.e. 'bin/max -c'). Who ever
logs in on this run will become the sysop of the BBS....

 VC> ! 17 Jun 01:28:01 MAX FATAL! User file record length in USER.BBS is

 VC> ! 02 Jul 18:54:01 MAX Vince Coen not in userlist
 VC> : 02 Jul 18:54:01 MAX  Application

Looks like you either regenerated the user database, or max did by this point....

 VC> # 02 Jul 19:02:29 MAX  Given 1438 min.
 VC> ! 02 Jul 19:15:11 MAX  MEX:  can't read file 'm/stats'
 VC> ! 02 Jul 19:15:32 MAX  MEX:  fatal cs:ffffffff: no main() function
 VC> ! 02 Jul 19:23:05 MAX  MEX:  fatal cs:ffffffff: no main() function
 VC> ! 02 Jul 19:23:09 MAX  MEX:  fatal cs:ffffffff: no main() function

The above three lines each show an attempt at mex VM running a compiled
program. This can cause Max to seg fault....

Based on subsequent messages, it looks like you cleared up the user
databasea and the compile mex code issues.

Take care.....
