I suspect the Justices are *less* than pleased at having
this case yanked off the docket at the last moment.
Disregarding the amount of study the Justices do to prepare
to hear a case - now wasted - , using the Supreme Court for
one's political ends is a no-no.
Given that the Justices are human, I suspect the defendants
are going to be regarded with rather a jaundiced eye upon
their next appearance.
