If we know the Hyatt is filled, then at least those who got in
the Hyatt should have their confirmations by now.
Another interesting thing is that in the April Monitor in the
article "new Orleans--Something for everyone," it says that the
Hyatt has 1,084 sleeping rooms and 100 suites. That adds up to
1184 total units for the entire hotel. How therefore, even
accounting for suites can we have filled 1,100 sleeping rooms for
just our block which is what I have been told?
In fact, here is the exact quote from the article itself.
"* Thirty-two-story atrium hotel, including 1,084 guest
rooms, 100 suites, and exclusive Regency Club
accommodations."
I have attended conventions in which both methods are used and I
believe it is best to let the otels deal with reservations.
