No, the key is using sections and applying them properly. You need a new
page section break between cover page and TOC and another newpage section
break between the TOC and text body. Once you understand sections and get
them set correctly, all will work fine, whether your TOC is one page or 20
pages long!
I also recommend a free macro supplied by MS with word called Section
Manager. It helps adjust headers, footer, and page numbering from section to
section.
