JA> You can use an inexpensive mixer to toggle back and forth

JA> or to a tape (reel or deck) system, provided this is for home
JA> use. I believe an inexpensive mixer can be purchased from Radio
JA> Shack for under $100 (actually about $69 US). But......
JA> The more pieces you put in the signal path of your

JA> and loud little critters that can create havoc for critical

personnaly, I made a little mixer box using only two operationnel
amplifier that allow me to mix 2 line-level signal with separate volume
control and an output to my headphone. I use this on my computer and the
ound
quality of the mixer is excellent. But, I will point that near all sound card
have VERY POOR audio sound quality, especially Sound bastard, all of them
makes a lot of noise, as much as my tape teck.. So you relly don't need
audiphile quality for amplifiers..
