BJ>And eventually I want to try to recompile the code under BJ>OS/2..... I assume you used some #ifdef's..... RT> Would be nice if you could compile the code under Win32 as well :) If the code compiles for OS/2, the code should also compile for Win32. The real question will be if it still compiles (and properly runs) under a DOS (16 bit or with 32 bit extenders) after we're done. Yes, you may have to tweak some make files to get it to compile in your enviornment. I was unsuccessful in getting dmake to run in my environment, which Scott's Max 3.01 source code release relied on for the make sub-system. Now that we have a GNU make working under Linux, I'll probably go with that the next time. Part of the reason I believe Scott used DMAKE was that he could cross compile Max and Squish for all platforms on a single machine. His last machine was Win32 based, using an old Watcom compiler (no longer for sale), and some other old tools. I don't expect to cross compile the code any time soon. If we can get a good compile with Open Watcom, it may become an option again..... If I use the EMX port of GCC for compiling under OS/2, I might be able to cross compile the OS/2 version on a Linux machine..... Any way.... Given enough time.... Take care.....
