A proper formatted "reply" of an NNTP message is considered a "followup" in
just about every bit of documentation I've read so far. An article (while it
could be considered the same) was described as a brand new post - ie: not a
reply or followup.

There are specific separate settings for article headers and followup headers.
That's all I was getting at. But basically with what you're saying, JamNNTPd
should be able to handle either one as long as it is formatted in a way that it
understands, and placed in a proper NETMAIL area. Then as you said, it is up to
the tosser to export it.

Ok. That answers what I was originally wondering. I'll test it out at some
point when I'm ready to keep that server up full time. Basically, I would want
both netmail and echomail to fully work in order to make any kind of permanent
switch.
