BC> Message Editor Cmd {at}C:\WS6\WS.EXE /N {at}F
JP> Second, what is the /N doing in that line ? And the {at}F ?
PS> I was going to ask the same thing about /N.
GL> The {at}F is the temp file name of the msg that is sent to the
GL> editor.
GL> The /N, as far as I can tell, is not a switch bwave recognizes,
GL> nor is it needed for the msg editor. An external editor just needs
GL> the {at}F. /N normally is used to pass the bbs node, but you are not
GL> in the bbs when in the bwave reader. I suppose the /N might be a
GL> switch for WS.EXE, but have no idea what it might be. Some editors
GL> need a switch for wordwrapping to be activated, so /N it might be
GL> along that line of thinking. At any rate, check the ws docs to see
GL> if /N is an actual switch.
"/N" and "/D" are WordStar switches for
"non-document" and
"document" modes.
WordStar has a normal default startup mode of "document."
