Hi,
I have an R-4A that has this mod. It works great, I use it often. I
think it's better than my R-4B, but haven't done a head-head comparison.
I've got copies of the articles. The filters are inside, on mine the switch
is on the front panel, but could/should have been put on the rear.
The guy I got it from thought it had been desecrated & sold it fairly
reasonably, I don't think he realized what had been done & how great a user
it was.
