DC> Actually, no. DC> I have sent replies and re-sent dupes after I went back into BW DC> and closed that open packet re-creating a new REP. Hmmm. I'm not sure I understand then what you were asking. Or what I said that you may not be understanding... In "normal" operation, if a rep packet exists for that bbs, unopened, it would be opened if you went to reply to a message. If no rep packet exists, then a new one is opened to receive the reply you are about to make. So, if you've sent the rep packet, and deleted it, there shouldn't be any rep packet, so a new packet would be opened. But that is a function of the normal BW functions, and doesn't have anything to do with the Alt-X for quick exit. If you exit, and leave the rep open, it wouldn't be available to be sent. If you exit, and close the rep, you could then send it and delete after sending. If you don't use the quick exit, then the rep is closed as you leave BW, and then you run the risk of sending dupes if you don't delete or rename it before you go to reply next time in BW. Is that any clearer? ;) DC> Then again, I run a rather strange setup in DOS! Well, I guess OMX complicates matters some... :) I'd say my DOS setup is rather straight-forward... :) ttyl neb ...
