ST> That's a neat idea. Maybe they should do that here. The only problem
ST> I have at the book sales, is that the owner of the big local used
ST> bookstore is there grabbing books by the handful the second the
ST> doors open.
That was happening a lot here, too. That's probably one reason they took
the shop in the mall. Over in my sister's county, they just have a sale
rack by the checkout desk at each library.
ST> I'm reading "Billingsgate Shoals" by Rick Boyer. (I think I have the
ST> name right). It was our reading group's book this month, I didn't
ST> get it done in time for the meeting. It has a LOT of details on
ST> boats and I'm finding it slow. I think I'm going to read the store's
ST> advanced reading copy of Diane Mott Davidson's new book next.
Sounds like it got bogged down in the boating details. I do find that
boaters can go on forever about the subject. ;)
... Everyone is gifted; some just open their packages sooner.
