I hate it with a passion. Sort of like wearing straightjacket. Everything works the One True Way (tm) that the developers believe in and lord-help-you if you want to customize it in any manner. KDE 3.x may not be perfect, but it's stable, responsive and relatively easy to setup the way YOU want it rather than what someone else thinks you SHOULD want. There.
