that would be something specific to the offline mail door that the sysop is
running in the bbs... AIR, most of them take a message addressed to the
mail door in the conference with the add or drop command in it... this
would tell the door to add or remove that conference from the users offline
bundle...

if you're speaking of automatically adding an area that the bbs is not
already carrying, that might be something the sysop has to do manually... i
recall a door, years ago, that would allow users to added conferences to
the bbs...
