If you are refering to a 'trickle-charger,' they are very simple.
In fact, all you need is one resister and one diode. Consult the
manufacturer on the reccomended current value.
I have 16-6V gulf cart batteries and a 30-amp converter. That's about
a days worth of power, most of it for running the refrigerator. We
have never had power off for more than nine hours....
Not to say that can not happen in the future.
