That's ok.
The reason, why I asked all these things, is the following:
Most german users use the German DIN A4 page-format and not the US Letter.
And many german users had similar problems as you. Sometimes a page feed,
sometimes the message, that the dokument is too large for the sheet of paper
and so on...
First of all, you should have a look into your printer manual. If you find
something about borders on which the printer cannot print, you should type in
these values in PRINTER - STANDARD PREFERENCES - BORDERS (left, right...).
Now the german DIN A4 pageformat is 20,99 x 29,7 cm. To get the document
printed out centered on the paper and without unwanted effects, it is
neccessary to open a document, go in FILE - PRINT - OPTIONS and to correct
(!) the values for length and width to 21,59 x 30,2 cm. Then it will work
fine. Maybe this will also help you.
Another mistake I also did, was to create a masterpage with too much areas (I
think I remember correct). I didn't see these areas, but there was always one
empty page at the end of the document, which caused a form feed.

I think, somewhere is written, that Geos uses a spooler, but you cannot
switch it off.

That is a well known "feature". Maybe you can get a better result in using
another video driver. Many german users didn't get this problem anymore when
using one of the new colourdrivers from Falk Rehwagen (256, 32k, 64k,
truecolour - it's fantastic!!!)

What is the english word for "Uups - I'm very surprised"? Where from do you
know Helga? Have you ever been in Germany? I told her, but she couldn't
remember your name. What's the secret?
Gruss, a very astonished Ralf
