Don't believe it.  
The standard MDT terminals that have been sold by the biggest
manufacturer in the business for years, use a format that
can be monitored using about $10.00 in parts from your
local radio shack, and shareware of the internet.
The mailing lists and newsgroups on the internet are full
of this information.  We built one, to show a customer.
