I am looking for a way to assign a string to a key, under Telix350.

 If I use (when in Dos622) an ANSI Escape sequence it is of course
 effective whilst directly under Dos622, but once I invoke Telix,
 the key assignment is no longer effective.
 
 If I make the assignment whilst shelling to Dos (under Telix Alt-V),
 the assignment becomes effective only _after_ I get out of Telix and
 return to the direct control of Dos.
 
 I am _not_ using Telix-scripts; upto now I never felt the need to
 script my calls to BBS-s :  I prefer to stay in control of the
 sessions.
 
 I would be grateful for any help/advice.
