TW> As I recall Ford used it for some years in their Auto Transmission TW> fluid. No, but I have used "No Slip" additives before in the transmission. They typically swell the seals and also have a foam/bubble preventer to keep the transmission from getting air bubbles in it. Normally the air bubbles in the fluid are from it being overfilled. I have found this out first hand. I used my evacuator to remove about 2-3 quarts from both my car and the truck when they came back after repairs with too much fluid in them. It would cause bubbles in the fluid and an occational slip. That is one thing about tramission fluid. You must have the right amount - not too little and not too much. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
