That was sort of my implied question.  Can these new xtals be soldered into
what we have with no need for sweeping, selecting other components, etc.
I've got several TR-3 soupcans, 1 bad, one barely usable, etc.  I've taken
data on them (see John L's book), but have never been nside one (yet).
