I agree, but alot of people do just buy raincoats there, so not too many 
people really do leave, but the lines do get shorter at times..   :)

I've lived here for over 12 years now, and I still can't get use to the heat, 
plus I'm very faired skinned, so I do not have a suntan, I'm really white, 
some of the tourist here are darker than me..  :)
