Due to a cock-up our bindery files were lost last week (someone ran
bindrest.exe by mistake). We have re-created them and deleted all the old
Mail directories. Some Windows 95 Workstations now log in OK but then get
a
blank screen as if they can't locate the Network storage location of their
profiles. We can't find any registry or ini file setting that might be
causing these PC's to look for their profiles anywhere other than on
C:\Windows\Profiles\User or in the current user's mail directory. The
problem seems to stay even if we take the machine out of user profile mode
!!. Some users (eg Supervisor equiv) can log in and then if you do "Close
all programs and log on as a different user" then the normal user can log
in.

Tried deleting *.pwl files, deleting client 32 and re-installing.
Clearing
th user's mail directory. Copying a default profile from the PC into thei
Mail directory. Any ideas please.

The server is not very well. Looking at the directories through Properties
on Client 32 shows permisions assigned to blank usernames / group names.
Bidfix.exe won't run giving error message "Fix protocol is not loaded".
