Sometimes I think that the Bush administration wants the monopoly to
continue as a DoD issue. Being able to use the Windows Product
Deactivation feature against the axis of evil must have
crossed the mind of at least one person in the Bush administration.
Combine that with the NSA key embedded in Windows, and you can see why Bush
thinks it is beneficial for Microsoft to keep its monopoly.
Unfortunately, forward-looking countries are on to the plan and are moving
to Linux to get out from the Microsoft/Bush stronghold.
