Where is your PKZIP program located?
I recommend finding a copy of the old DOS 2.04g PKZIP & PKUNZIP to
put in the BlueWave folder.
Go through the BlueWave Setup and give everything a COMPLETE
command line:
example:
Download Directory C:\RBW\
Upload Directory C:\SND\
Work Directory G:\BW1\WORK\
Reply Directory G:\BW1\REPLY\
Data Directory C:\BW\DATA\
You did put the BWREPFIX program and batch file in the BlueWave
folder?
Do the same for the BWREPFIX: BWPACK.BAT file:
(Change C:\BW\ to whatever your actual path is.)
{at}ECHO OFF
GOTO %1
ECHO.
ECHO The parameter "%1"
ECHO was not recognized. Valid values are:
ECHO ZIP, OLDZIP, ARJ, LHA, PAK, ARC, and AUX.
ECHO Please re-check the BWREPFIX.DOC file and your Blue Wave Archiver
ECHO configuration, and make sure your archivers are configured correctly.
ECHO.
PAUSE
GOTO END
:ZIP
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\PKZIP -ex %2 %3
GOTO END
:OLDZIP
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\PKZIP.EXE -e0 %2 %3
GOTO END
:ARJ
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\ARJ a -e -y %2 %3
GOTO END
:LHA
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\LHA a /m /n2 %2 %3
GOTO END
:PAK
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\PAK a %2 %3
GOTO END
:ARC
C:\BW\BWREPFIX.EXE %3
C:\BW\PKPAK -a %2 %3
GOTO END
:AUX
::BWREPFIX.EXE %3
:: %2 %3
:END
Make sure to change your BlueWave configuration setup.
Setup:
Archivers:
ZIP Compression C:\BW\BWPACK.BAT {at}F {at}I
ZIP Decompression C:\BW\PKUNZIP.EXE -o {at}F {at}I
I find that it is better to try to keep all of the programs and
files in the BlueWave folder/directory when running it in the XP
environment.
