are far more limited than your part of the world.

For sure.  However I don't get to the stores often enough to take advantage of
sales ... if indeed they actually have sales often enough on the local scene.

That makes it even better since the Canadian prices don't include taxes.  Here
in BC there is at least a 15% increase on the listed price.  You might be
getting a better deal on east coast Canadian single malts than we do here on
the west coast do ... not that it is a big surprise to anyone here.
