Netspeakingwise then, FWIW, my parents came to this nation circa 1953,
fleeing the communists then entering their nation, Hungary. The last name
remains as Thoma, sans the "s" all-so-often tacked upon it as suffix. My
full first name is Emerich, sometimes commonly referenced as Emery in the
American vernacular, with Rick being drawn as something of a user-friendly
nickname from it.
