subject: PROGRAMMING IN THE CLASSR

-> Once we instilled programming in the elementary schools, we saw

Hi Steve,
I must say that I am beginning to develop a different impression of you
than I initially had. From your first several messages, I was sure that
you were a programmer by profession. (You did say that you had a Comp
Sci degree, right?)
But this last bit, quoted above, seems to clearly indicate that you've
worked with kids in the schools. So, are you a teacher? Maybe a
concerned volunteer?
I'd be interested to hear in more detail about your programming work
with students, especially their ages, what programming language, what
types of assignments and classroom management. How long on a daily basis
did you have the students for computer studies, and how long did this
last through the school year?
