I have just installed a new hdd...a 3.1gig Caviar 33100.  I didn't want to
much around with small partitions so just formatted the lot as a hpfs.

and arj255 has trouble writing to the partition..  I arj up my bbs listing

its a good job I was around when it happened because it kept on attempting to
creating a new volume ala  sawasdi.a12 etc.  My solution was to create a
virtual directory on a virtual drive (I'm using tvfs) which appears to be
about a gig drive.  Worked OK.
