Zero Surge - "Surge Eliminator"
The power protector for LANS, PCS and COMPUTER PERIPHERALS
Power surge. Your system's biggest threat.
------------------------------------------
No matter how sophisticated your system is, its power cord is its
Achilles heel.
Powerline surges occur all the time, constantly battering your
computer installation. Big ones can seriously damage the equipment
by overstressing or causing arc-overs inside tiny computer chips.
Even small ones disrupt programs and alter data. Ordinary surge
suppressors can't cope. They can even CAUSE problems, by diverting
the surge into ground circuitry used by all modems and datalines
and disrupting or damaging the integrity of the entire LAN system.
That is why we invented our Surge Eliminator, the first real advance
in surge protection technology for PCs, LANs and peripherals.
No sacrificial components.
--------------------------
Most surge protectors rely on components called metal oxide varistors
(MOVs), which sacrifice themselves in service and wear out. Zero Surge
protectors use none of these sacrificial components, and are immune to
surge damage.
A patented technology that eliminates surge.
--------------------------------------------
Zero Surge's are not surge suppressors but surge eliminators -
the result of a unique patented technology.
So-called surge suppressors are actually surge diverters, channeling
surges into ground lines. Zero Surge units employ unique patented
series circuitry that intercept surges with zero response time, stores
the surge energy, then gradually and harmlessly releases it to the
neutral wire. They work like a bucket with a hole in it. So only with
Zero Surge do the ground wires used for voltage reference by inter-
connecting datalines remain undisturbed. And only with Zero Surge is
the risk of damage or data contamination through the ground completely
eliminated. Only Zero Surge stands directly in the line before the
computer to intercept the surge, and is immune to damage by the most
powerful surge.
Pays for itself.
----------------
Zero Surge will yield a one-year payback if failure costs are reduced by
only 1.3% for the average case reported by Infonetics, an independent
research firm. Infonetics has reported that Fortune 1000 companies
experience on an average 23.6 Local Area Network failures per year, with
an average duration of 4.9 hours each, costing the average company $3.48
million per year. That's a heavy price to pay for using inferior power
protection.
Power surges are gaining increasing recognition as a major cause of
computer disruption and failure. Eliminate them with Zero Surge.
