Hi everybody,

I had a strange problem happening on my netware 4.1

recently my server monitor.nlm reports 100% CPU utilization and refuse
to let anybody login and sometimes
server consoles lock up,I have no choice but to shutdown my server and
rebbot.

1) at first I taught it was arcserve etc.. s/w that is causing the
problem and I unload all modules but the
problems still happens.

2) I then load in the patch 410pt8b and ds410p and try same problem.

3) I managed to zeroing in the problem when I load server with -ndb
options ,the 100% disappears
but I cannot login because database was not open.
,when I load DS it is 100% CPU again.
even I load in the lastest DS and Dsrepair by such command load a:DS
since I cannot login to novell
So I guess it is a DS or NDS corruption problem.

4) I try to do dsrepair but when it scans the structure of my database
it report 100000!! errors and still counting!!
I managed to pause the job by doing F3,it seems to "chase its own tails"
because it keeps report error on a single
record of CN=....... and its go in loops.

5) So dsrepair cannot help ,now I am left with no other choice .

I guess I can reinstore but there are data in the hard disk,I would
rather leave that as a last options.

Is anybody ladies or gentleman here that can offer me some Help,
I would greatly appreciate it.
