Same applies to Russia... they suddenly appear at the road, and you'd better
stop and wait for them to go away.

Also, when bears are crossing the road, you'd better act as if there's a
"pedestrian pass" sign. But, unlike mooses, they never stay at the road.

Anti-offtopic: the dashcam and navigation system in my car uses Linux kernel -
with Android userland, of course :-)
