There is nothing wrong with Irish whisky. You just shouldn't compare it to
Scotish single malts. It's apples and oranges. ;)
Just like American Bourbon, which you shouldn't compare to those either,
although it's called whiskey too...

I don't know any. I once tasted a rye whiskey from Seagram (is that Canadian?).
But that is more like bourbon, than single malt...
