i will assume that if you type volumes, you see your volumes loaded with the
os2 name space. I manage about 60 novell servers and have had no problem
with long name spaces. (although most of these servers have been upgraded to
nw4.11.)

As long as you are loading os2.nam, it should work. I think for 3.11 you
have to load it in the startup.ncf, you will have to specify the full path
ie. c:\server.311\os2.nam

Let me know if you have fixed this or if it doesn't work at all for you.
