Actually data and power.
When I poured my pier foundation I buried in it a piece of conduit which
runs between the top and side. It exits on the side 9 inches down. While
waiting for the foundation to cure I've dug a trench from the foundation to
the near by shed. I want to run 12 ish volts to, and data from the pier.
What do I need to do? Can I put down flex conduit with ?romex? inside. And
what about data? Any cabling suggestions? A serial line would probably be
sufficient, but I would rather have a parallel printer cable. The run
length will be about 25 feet.
Water can be a problem in the Winter. The ground can get pretty much
soaked. Also, what about bugs making there home in the conduit? Advice
and suggestions are solicited.
