On the other hoof, I'm starting to like seeing the listkeeper -> robot's messages for several reasons; They are a good antler-link test, are -> very polite, and also contribute towards are message volume statistics. -> As well, these dire warnings add a little bit of excitement, eh? Yes they can :-) ... They are good reminders to moderators especially in the case when an echos volume may have dropped due to inactivity or potential lack of interest by users during a slow period such as the summer when people are more apt to being outside, etc... I too enjoy them in my own moderated echos in the event I forget to send off the ELIST update requests :-) ... But I usually send my requests off via EMAIL and have been very successful using that approach. I've tried NETMAIL in the past; however didn't seem to be as reliable as EMAIL since I typically route all netmail from my system to my uplink. Anyways, good luck and happy messaging :-) Chris Cranford, Z1B Operations --- Mail-ennium/32 v1.01.301.11c/#01-0001* Origin: Thanks for using Mail-ennium/32 (1:379/1200.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1200 1 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
