They are not generally highly regarded.  You will probably be happier
with a modem from a recognized modem manufacturer, like Motorola,
Hayes, or USR.
Sometimes a good "yardstick" is the thickness of the manual for the
_modem_ (not the manual for any software that comes with it).  The
thicker the manual, (generally) the better the product.
