I notice my local gun stores are looking pretty affluent these days.
They have started stocking a lot of AR-15s and such, quite a bit of
it looks pre-ban. That's a lot of money to sink into inventory and
people don't do that unless they are moving it. I also noticed one
hell of a shelf full of Leupold riflescopes. Not even out in a
display case or anything, just a big shelf full of these very high
ticket items. I noticed a couple of those big 90 round drum mags
for AK's or AR-15's or whatever they are, you know, the kind that
make gun grabbing monkeys wet their panties.
Ammo comes and goes. A couple of times I've gone in to get the ammo
I've budgeted for out of each paycheck and my favored loads are out
of stock, though usually not for long. This tells me a lot of people
are buying in bulk and cleaning out dealers' stocks of the best stuff.
There are big huge piles of bulk ammo piled around and it looks
different every time I go in. The stuff is definitely moving.
I'd say the gun grabbers have got a lot to worry about. You can only
push an armed people so far and they are going to start pushing back.
Every flipping night I see more inflammatory lies coming from Dan Blather's
outfit, NPR, CNN, you name it. They are scaring the hell out of good,
honest law-abiding Americans and they are reacting by stocking up,
buying lots of guns before they are gone or banned and stocking up
on one hell of a lot of ammo. I see lots of young families in the gun
stores, dad, mom, young ones in tow or carried. It's not just the
dad and son thing any more.
The antis need to get a clue: the most dangerous thing in the wild
is a cornered animal that feels it has no escape. It will attack
violently, particularly if its offspring are at risk. If they aren't
careful, there are going to be big stinking heaps of gun grabbing
monkey bodies laying about.
Best,
Jim
