Ok, I played with it some ..
I read back in the old messages here earlier today and saw some had to
delete the VM files that mex creates.. so I did removed vm file that Mex
created.. then I moved all the .ctl files to /home/max where the
installation lives, added Max to my path, and at first had no good
results.. then I added a bunch of subdirectories too:
{other pathstuff}:/home/max:/home/max/bin:/home/max/etc:.
Probably some of them were redundant, but /home/max/ didn't work.. weird..I
ran silt max -x, and then the File Menu worked again
Then I started playing with the menus.. I've got an ansi menu up for the
main menu and that is not being translated well.. I used ansi2bbs.. maybe
I'll try it with ansi2mec and then use mecca on the file..
There are still problems with the compress.cfg, but I didn't have time to
play with that today.. maybe tonight

Sure is :) Just a little hectic at time
Take care,
