Well exactly how much.. I honestly don't know.. it was being discussed. Funny
thing is there are some of the staff that are staunch GR supporters.. they do
not like to refer the Defiant as a combat ship.. more of a "Borg buster".

Yep, that's what Sternbach refered to. Funny.. they weren't thrilled with the
design originally. Ahhhh a reference or two about a "frisby".. ;)

Nope.. no seaview. Chuckle.. and I'm still trying to find the picts of me and
a buddy at the 20th ponds many years ago with the mid sized Seaview model.
His Dad was head gaffer at 20th in those days.. we used to go over to get
haircuts. :)
The flying sub model is hanging with a model of the ship from Fantastic
Voyage.. :)
Man you wouldn't believe what they've got there.. Looks like a Sci fi fan
club in that art dept. :)

Chuckle.. you should have seen some of the models I built years ago. I was
actually a Revell master modeler after hand crafting a 427 Cobra before
Shelby did based on the 289 Cobra. I later built a hand made Stewart Tank
that had a .22 pistol for the Canon that I had a friend turn down the barrel
on to make it a scale version of the 37 MM cannon. Ah well chuckle.. those
were the days. The RC tank was fun. :)
I stopped after putting 100's of hours into a belly landed Mossie (DH-98).
Should have used a proffesional air gun to paint it.. but I used commercial
spray paint and it was to course for the scale. I filed the model in a
circular file. :/

Also remember that those sets aren't made to last.. the wear and tear on them
is harsh not to mention the Okudagrams coming unstuck.

Yep.. it would have been fun in keeping with the episode. ;)
