Logging is optional in 4.x (TD) and, I think, in PRO also. In 4.x, go
into QInstall (Alt-N), look at the Files pulldown for the configured
log file name (you can change it if you wish) and then look at Toggles
under Options and see whether log autostart is off or on (and change it
if you wish). Then Exit and select save if you made changes you want to
make permanent or abandon to leave things as they were. Regardless of
whether or not you set the log to autostart when you load Qmodem, you
can toggle it off and on at will with Alt-0 during the session. When
logging is activated, if the specified log file exists, it will be
appended; if not, it will be created.
