How impressive... not... ;0 KW> The last is because my car is a plug-in Prius, and they needed the KW> space where the spare tire was for more batteries. I'm going to buy a KW> spare on eBay for trips, as driving too far from home without a spare KW> gives me the heebie-jeebies. I haven't used a spare for years... but then, that's what AAA is for... All my car has is a space-saver, better than nothing, I suppose, but not something I'd be particularly trusting anyway... Fortunately, when I've needed something, it was relatively local, and I was able to "hitch" a ride to the tire place.. Most recently, even having a spare wouldn't have helped any anyway, as I managed to destroy not one but two tires in one fell swoop (nasty potholes!!)... needed the tow... Once upon a time, I didn't like traveling without a full-size spare, and had one special-ordered for my Dodge Shadow, back in 1989... :) Never needed it, thankfully, but I had it just in case... :) ttyl neb ... And he disappeared in a puff of logic. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.20 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Check Out Doc's QWK Mail Via Web BBS > DocsPlace.org (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 19/33 34/999 90/1 116/18 120/331 123/500 128/187 135/364 140/1 SEEN-BY: 218/700 222/2 226/0 160 230/150 240/1120 249/303 261/38 100 266/404 SEEN-BY: 267/155 280/1027 282/1031 1056 292/907 908 320/119 340/400 393/68 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 801/161 2320/105 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
