One good case makes poor statistics for company reputation. Bad one is very efficient in destroying it. Good company among other virtues has good quality control and will not allow itself to release single suspect product. Good name is difficult to create and difficult to maintain but not so difficult to destroy. When "high efficiency-short term" management takes over, downhill is inevitable. Moonward should take it back recoat and refund expenses. Spatter is not part of coating process, it is part of questionable procedure. Not verdict, only my opinion about business ethics.
