A Senate judiciary committee, a Senate majority, and a sitting
president all thought he was thoroughly qualified. No-name Senator
Harry Whats-his-face says he's not. Of course, you'd believe Sen.
Whats-his-face (D-Manitoba) because you're an idiot.
Note that, like you, Harry doesn't bother to argue in favor of a bold
statement. He just plops it down like a cow pattie and leaves it for
others to disprove. Could he be inadequate Senatorial material? Could
you be inadequate usenet material?

Was this new Senator a grammar school teacher before being elected?
Does he go over Thomas' opinions with a red pen?

Oh, well if HE just doesn't think so, it must not be so, because this
is the immortal Sen. Harry Reid, and we all know that what he says
goes.
This hereby ends Sen. Reid's argument in favor of his inflammatory
opinion. I'm sure we'll hear of him again during the next Senate
filibuster, but apart from that, I look forward to yet another
unremarkable democrat Senator.

Wait, he can't do that, because Parg wouldn't think Scalia was
adequate, and both he _and_ Parg must approve. It's in the Senate
handbook.

Just when you think someone can't be more smarmy than Daschle.....
