That's the main reason, yes.

But without additional information it's hard to investigate.
One thing I can suggest: check the log not only for error messages but for
unfinished sessions too. There are lines like

1 04:31:45 End
So, we need to find Start line without pair End line. If there is such
entry in log then it is possible to find out more. For example, which tic
file was processed then.
