-> WC> In DOS just dir/s \ > files.bbs. -> WC> I'm certain Linux has a similar command. -> WC> Perhaps ls -aRl (source) > files.bbs? -> Sounds good. -> WC> Or are you simultaniously trying to extract the file_id -> WC> description? -> Not me. Those are typically formatted, and I like mine to be one long line... -> WC> I know Knoppix Linux has PKZIP compatable zip and unzip functions -> WC> and you can specify the files you want to extract from an large -> WC> archive. -> I'm finding that under mc most archiving is pretty transparent stuff. I didn't know there was a Katz zip compatable in Linux when setting up an OLR here so those were my only error messages. Fortunately saved my telnet application and OLR to floppy. Going to try and slap the sound card, I/O card and drive in the system tomorrow. Been too tired of late to do all that's needed and than too it's been sorta wild running Linux full GUI in ramdrive for well over three weeks now :-) --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
