I had a 2009 Gti with the tsi engine (basically the Audi A-4) which was made for forced induction with cast iron block and chain driven cams. I think a bug with the tsi motor could be quite a sleeper considering all the flashes available. I had the APR stage II on my car with intake and exhaust and it was close to 280 hp. I was getting ready to get the european Audi A-3 turbo for the car which is basically an OEM piece but would take it up over 320hp. Any more boost and you really should have better internals. Quite an amazing motor. Same performance characteristics as late 60s Chevy small block yet half the cylinders. Actually the car has half the weight too ;) I think the 69 Firebird was close to 2 tons when you think about it. --- WWIVToss v.1.50* Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 261/1304 1 266/512 140/1 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
