I don't see where libxfer is.....  Ah....  ok....  lib/libxfer.so after the
install script runs......

I'd have to look up where in the make script this gets generated (probably
from max/f_xfer.c, or something in slib subdirectory....

You have as much documentation as I have at this point.....
