Insurance, with out liability insurance on your boat you are putting your 
future and the security of yourself and your family at risk. Boat liability 
isurance is cheap. $8000.00 wouldn't pay for the paint on most boats. I carry 
300,000 thousand liability  and cost $85.00  a year. I own a 34' sail boat. 
Heck if you bought the liability for 10 years you would still have $7150.00 
in the bank and a lot less chance of losing the boat and your home. BTW I 
hate insurance agents but love my life style.
