How does it cripple Linux?  Perhaps I can see this if you are using the
same machine for everyday use plus the BBS.  However, I run a seperate
machine for each task so I am not affected badly by any CPU hogging DOS
software.  If fact, I do find the DOSEMU under Linux performs more robustly
than DOS/DV ever seemed to :)
