Michael I be confused.
Midi records via a program like Cakewalk (pick your own version(s)) and is a
data file .MID . Now to record "sound" ie; with a microphone of from a sound
media like record, radio etc. that would be a .wav file format sorta like a
digital file or sounds same as a music cd.
I play on my keyboard and record the track in CakeWalk (5 versions on my
system) then record a 2nd track and play both back so you can have drums
and sax together etc.etc. .WAV is recordes all at one time as it is a wave
format. I hope that this will help???
