Thought I'd reply to everyone in one message since telnet isn't as fast as I'd like :) Scott: Same girl :) Anti-cheating is well above linux on the lit of priorities too. First on the list has been to get the doors compiled as a 32bit app though. Today is a really cool day though. I've FINALLY gotten my door library ported and working under Windows. I've even got a door that I never released running as a 32bit telnet door under synchronet without any major rewriting (outside of the doorkit). It may not eem like much, but it's a big deal. This doorkit isn't the same one used by the SR products unfortunately, but it is the backbone under Dungeon Master. I wanted to get it working first because it's my own code and porting the SR games has proven to be... very challenging. The upside is porting my doorkit first has helped me figure out a lot about 32bit console apps and will speed along the work I've already started with the other doors. Anyway, gotta run. I'll try to stop back again soon. ---* Origin: telnet://badnews.bbs.us http://badnews.bbs.us (3:633/690) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 633/690 285 260 261/38 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
